Our Story
Gbnewrf was launched in 2024 in response to a problem the founding team had experienced first-hand as tech consumers: it had become increasingly difficult to find trustworthy, expert-backed information about the products and ingredients we use every day. Marketing copy and search-optimized listicles had crowded out the kind of careful, hands-on testing that helps people make confident decisions.
We started Gbnewrf to fix that. Our editorial charter is intentionally narrow: we only publish content we can stand behind, we only review products we have actually tested, and we only make recommendations we would be willing to act on ourselves. If we cannot test something properly, we say so.
